Fair Trade USA audits and certifies transactions between U.S. companies and their international suppliers to guarantee that small-scale farmers and workers producing Fair Trade Certified goods certified by Fair Trade USA are paid fairer prices and wages that help to sustain costs of production, provide farmers with tools, training and resources to thrive as international businesspeople and over time contribute to community development funds in an effort to uplift communities behind the products, and close the gap between the people behind the products and consumers.

Fair Trade provides small-scale farmers and workers more control over their own lives by linking their everyday determination with the aspiration of consumers around the world while helping to reverse the damaging effects of poverty and injustice, and turn every shopping trip into an opportunity to make an immediate and lasting difference in the world. Why not when we can do better?

So we encourage you to add one Fair Trade product to your shopping list. It doesn’t even have to be ours. You pick the product that serves you best. The intent is to elevate conscious shopping in the minds of consumers so together we can be and do better. We understand the system has made it hard. Trust us! We personally are right there with you, but we can start, at the least, to think about how our purchases impact the world. That’s the only first step we ask you to take. You are also invited to either do this on your own or share with us producers here in the US that could benefit from this new market economy. We would be happy to help in any way that we can.
